Why
bring your students to the JBC?
As a history teacher, I feel it is important
to expose students to these arenas!

This
was an awesome place for me to visit
since I had several family members
who fought in the war. Specifically
my grandfather was in the RCAF. This
place meant a lot to me because my
great grandfather was on these beaches
and just to know that he was there
was incredible. I’m very proud
of Canada’s contributions in
the war and am greatful for the opportunity
to have come here. I will always remember
the beaches and the artefacts here.
I hope more Canadians have an opportunity
to visit the Juno Beach Centre like
my friends and myself did.
